In To Watch You Bleed I venture into some of the darker thriller sub-genres, specifically the psychological thriller and horror genres. Unlike my first novel, They′ll Call It Treason, this new story takes on a more menacing nature as it follows one family′s tormenting night at the edge of a knife. It′s main character, Dalton Summers, has it all. He has a beautiful wife, two teenage kids, the nice car and big house. But, despite all of that he also has a dark secret. Then on Halloween night he gets a phone call that threatens to turn his world upside. A young, raspy, voice that comes on the line, &qout;Hurry home Dalton... before I kill them all."
True to both of its thriller sub-genres, To Watch You Bleed deals with the mental anguish of its characters and refuses to flinch when things get messy.
